This year seems to be flying by! Just minutes ago we were finalising New Year’s resolutions and now we’re eyeing off Easter eggs in the supermarket and preparing for April School Holidays. Planning what to do with the rugrats during School Holidays can feel a little overwhelming. Which is why we’ve done the hard work for you and come up with a list of suggestions sure to keep the little ones entertained – and your sanity intact.

Strike Bowling

There’s nothing like the sound of bowling balls clinking down the alley and the smell of hot chips covered in tomato sauce! So peel the kids away from the iPad and whisk them away for an afternoon of fun. Turn it into a family competition, losing team does the dishes and watch the competition heat up!

Laser Tag

Also located in the Strike bowling alley is laser tag. Perfect for those rainy afternoons, each laser tag arena is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for a full-on immersive experience. Burn off the kid’s energy so by the time evening rolls around, you can put your feet up with a glass of wine.

Hoyts Cinema

This school holidays, Hoyts Chatswood will be showing a range of kid-friendly flicks so book your tickets and enjoy two hours of blissful distraction as the kids get lost in the story on the big screen. Why not try Lego Batman Movie or Smurfs: The Lost Village, both coming out 30th March. Or for the eldest child, take a peek at the live action Beauty and the Beast out on 23rd March. Revisit a Disney classic and prepare to have the songs stuck in your head for a month.

All of these activities will probably leave you and the kids exhausted. So why not be our guest, and stay for the weekend in our one of our two or three bedroom apartments? Plenty of space for the kids to bounce around and with a delicious room service breakfast menu it’s the perfect opportunity to have a sleep in on us. Go on, you’ve earned it.
