Being in the Lower North Shore district of Sydney, Chatswood is undoubtedly a hub of activity. When it comes to finding something to do, there is always a new food haunt to visit, something to see or a new spot to hang.

If you are in Chatswood anytime during September, you are in for a treat. The annual Emerge Festival is on and it is the perfect way to celebrate the warmer weather. Food, entertainment and art are just a small part of the festival so there will no doubt be something for all. Read our article on the event to find out more.

If you’re more into the local art scene, check out Art Space on the Concourse.  Willoughby City Council programs Art Space with a combination of Council curated exhibitions and exhibitions by artists, community groups, and cultural organisations.

Also at The Concourse you'll find some great events like Jonny Cash The Concert, Together Live 2018, Shrek The Musical, and Anh Do - The Happiest Refugee Live!

Obviously we have the pick of some of the best dining in Sydney here on our doorstep. Whether it's casual asian street food at Hawker Lane, or  a memorable dining experience at Din Tai Fung, you'll be sure to have your tastebuds delighted.

Don’t limit your adventures to just Chatswood. The north shore area has a whole lot to offer, like The Deck’s Ferris Wheel High Tea. From Luna Park’s very own ferris wheel, you can enjoy a classy brunch beside the harbor for $75. Imagine yourself looking at the Harbor Bridge with a glass of French Champagne in one hand and a croissant in the other. Delicious food, stunning views and good company? Sounds like a fabulous day.

One of Sydney’s most popular market scenes are the Kirribilli markets. Every second Sunday there are boutique markets showcasing emerging designers and artisan goods. But if that is not your thing, every fourth Sunday is the general market which has a broader mix– fresh produce, arts and crafts, boutique goods and foodie delights. With live entertainment, it’s worth the trip from Chatswood.

Chatswood and its surrounds have a lot to offer and The Sebel Sydney Chatswood is right in the heart of it.
