LANE COVE NATIONAL PARK

2018-06-13

Lucky for us Sydneysiders there is an abundance of natural beauty begging to be explored just outside the city limits. You don’t have to travel far to explore the great outdoors, in fact, some of the best spots to bushwalk are right on Sydney’s doorstep.

Bundle the kids into the car on Sunday and drive to Lane Cove National Park. Spend the day hiking through the spring blooms or hire a canoe and drift along the Lane Cove River. Be sure to pack a picnic lunch and make use of one of the many picnic areas. Alternatively, bring along some snags and bread rolls and have a proper Aussie sausage sizzle, complete with tomato sauce dripping down your fingers.

Lane Cove National Park is open 9am-6pm and costs $8 per vehicle per day. It’s the perfect way to escape the craziness of the CBD without having to drive for hours. An easy commute from Chatswood, why not book a night in one of our one, two or three bedroom apartments and make a weekend of it!

Head over to Westfield before setting off for the day and stock up on picnic supplies. Just make sure you take lots of photos so you can show us what you experienced on your return! Head to the Lane Cove National Park website for more information and then book your apartment with us today!
