Some say the best start to any dinner is arriving at a restaurant and experiencing views that takes your breath away. A unique restaurant accessible by private boat, ferry or car (closet train station is North Sydney). The menu  focuses on fresh seafood combined with classic French cooking. Alternatively, you can create your own Valentine’s Day dinner in the comfort of your own 1 bedroom apartment. Our elegant serviced apartments offer a full kitchen where you are free to be expressive with your cooking, here a few recipes ideas to get you started  


Clam Linguine

340g linguine

3 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves

Red pepper flakes

2 tbsp chopped parsley

450g fresh littleneck clams

½ cup dry white wine

3 lemons (1 lemon juice), 2 wedges for serving


Step 1. Cook pasta until al dente and drain

Step 2. Medium heat on deep pan with butter, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes and parsley. Cook for 1 min for fragrance.

Step 3. Add clams and put over wine. Cover with lid and cook until clam shells open (approx. 7-10mins) – discard any unopened clams

Step 4. Add lemon juice, cooked linguine and toss until mixed well.


Molten Chocolate Cakes

8 tbsp unsalted butter

Cocoa power for dusting

2 2/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips melted

½ cup granulated sugar

6 large eggs

2/3 cups flour

1tsp vanilla

2tsp espresso powder

½ tsp salt

Icing sugar for dusting


Step 1. Preheat oven to 200’C. Generously butter 12 cups of standard muffin tin. Dust with cocoa powder

Step 2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy with a hand mixer. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour and salt and stir in chocolate.

Step 3. Pour batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Tip: place a large baking sheet on top of the muffin tin and flip over to get cakes out. Place on serving plats, dust with icing sugar and serve.
